These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your participation in the text messaging program operated by Reef World Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 93-3218762. Reef World Inc. is doing business as Remember Me By The Sea and is also doing business as Parrot Head Reef. All three names refer to the same organization.
About our organization and services
Reef World Inc. is a nonprofit organization that designs and places memorial reefs — permitted structures placed on the sea floor that incorporate a loved one's cremated ashes and provide marine habitat. We also operate assistance programs for qualifying families. We are not a funeral home and do not provide licensed funeral services.
Text messaging program
Program description. By providing your mobile number and giving your express written consent, you agree to receive text messages from Reef World Inc. (doing business as Remember Me By The Sea and as Parrot Head Reef). Depending on the consent you give, those messages may include:
- Non-marketing messages — replies to your inquiry, updates about your memorial reef arrangement, placement scheduling and confirmation, and customer service.
- Marketing messages — news about our programs, events, and services, sent only if you separately opt in to marketing messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, arrangement, or service. We send only the category of messages you have consented to receive.
Message frequency. Message frequency may vary. You will receive messages only in response to your inquiry, in connection with your arrangement, or, if you opted in to marketing, occasional program updates.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
How to cancel. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and you will not receive any further text messages from that program. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time, or reply START.

Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Supported carriers and devices. The program is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers. Message delivery may not be available on all carriers or devices.
Privacy. Information you provide to the text messaging program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Use of this website
The content on this website is provided for general information about our organization and its programs. It is not legal, financial, medical, or funeral-services advice. Reef options, availability, permitted placement sites, and pricing are confirmed directly with each family in writing before any arrangement is made, and information on this website does not constitute an offer or a binding quote.
Intellectual property
The content, logos, and marks on this website are the property of Reef World Inc. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Reef World Inc. is an independent nonprofit organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville, or any related entity.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reef World Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the text messaging program. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
